Starting June 1st, 2015, Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa is Senior Research Fellow in International Public and Investment Law at Bocconi University of Milan (IT).

Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa has been selected to speak at the opening session of the ESIL Annual Research Forum, to be held on May 14th-15th, 2015, at the European University Institute of Florence.

The presentation will focus on a challenging topic, currently being developed as an academic paper: ‘Persistent Objections to the Western Understanding of Territorial Integrity and Right of Self-Determination: Russia’s Reassessment Attempt’.

Dr. Vaccaro Incisa will attend the 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Society of International Law, held in Washington D.C. (US) on Apr. 6th-11th.

He will also serve as Judge for the International Rounds of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Mar. 26, 2015 – Speaking at the DISSETTLE Conference in Warsaw

Dr. Vaccaro Incisa will participate to the concluding conference of the DISSETTLE Marie-Curie Initial Training Network, held on Mar. 25th-28th, 2015, at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw.

Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa will present his findings for the draft research paper ‘SETA, CETA, TTIP, and CEIA: the EU role in international investment law‘.

Dr. Vaccaro Incisa will attend the 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Society of International Law, held in Washington D.C. (US) on Apr. 6th-11th.

Feb. 19, 2015 – Paris’ ICC Rounds of the Frankfurt Investment Moot Court

On Feb. 19th, the French National Rounds for the Frankfurt Moot Court on Investment have taken place at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce of Paris.

The team participating on behalf of the Catholic University of Lille, for which Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa served as coach, qualified 2nd, acceding to the final round against Science Po.

Congratulations to the team, for the outstanding result achieved at its 1st participation in such competition.

Jan. 13th, 2015. Bocconi Legal Papers, law review of Bocconi University, has published in its 4th issue Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa’s submission on “The Evolution of China’s Policy and Treaty Practice in International Investment Law: an Outline”.

On Nov. 13th-14th, 2014, Dr. Vaccaro Incisa will participate to the conference organized by the Centre de Recherche sur les Relations entre le Risque et le Droit (C3RD) of Lille (FR), on ‘Legal Risks in Recent Developments of EU Law‘.

He will present his preliminary findings on the study of the EU treaty policy and practice on the protection of foreign investment, moving from the texts already signaled (Singapore and Canada) and those under negotiation (US and China).
