More specifically:

• The draft paper on “Protection of foreign investment and the EU: framework and first fruits” (whose final version is due for publication in the forthcoming book, published by Springer and edited by Dr. Aurélien Raccah, on “Legal Risks in EU Law ‐ Interdisciplinary Studies on Legal Risk Management and Better Regulation in Europe”), ranks, since Aug. 3rd, in the Top-10 for the “Investment” and “Treaties” categories;
• The draft paper on “The evolution of China’s policy and treaty practice in international investment law: an outline” (whose final version has been published on the 4th number of Bocconi Legal Papers, law review of Bocconi University, on Jan. 2015) ranks, since Aug. 6th, in the Top-10 for the “Legal systems & agency conflicts”, “Treaties”, and “Trade Law” categories.
• [UPDATE / Aug. 26th, 2015] On Aug. 25th, the draft paper on “Investment ratione legis clause and objective criteria in Chinese investment treaty policy and practice: innovating, conservatively” entered the Top-10 for the “International Arbitration”, “Investment”, and “International Law” categories.

Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa has been selected to speak at the opening session of the ESIL Annual Research Forum, to be held on May 14th-15th, 2015, at the European University Institute of Florence.

The presentation will focus on a challenging topic, currently being developed as an academic paper: ‘Persistent Objections to the Western Understanding of Territorial Integrity and Right of Self-Determination: Russia’s Reassessment Attempt’.
